Your data never leaves Europe

Supernormal does not document which region your data lives in: their security page covers GDPR rights (access, portability, erasure), which is not the same as residency. AudioMap runs transcription, embeddings, database and audio storage on European infrastructure (Hetzner DE for DB, Vertex AI europe-west1, AssemblyAI EU endpoint, R2 EU bucket). Not a single byte of your client's audio or transcript crosses the Atlantic. If the Spanish DPA audits you, you have paperwork.

Real Spanish, not English with a 🇪🇸 flag

Supernormal's UI is English-only. Their templates, prompts, and demos are in English. AudioMap is Spanish-native with regional variants: Iberian, Mexican, Argentine, Colombian, Chilean Spanish. Recognizes ES↔EN code-switching. For a Spanish-speaking professional, this is the difference between "American tool, translated" and "tool built for me".

Works on your phone, not desktop only

Supernormal's core product is a desktop notetaker (Mac and Windows), with no native iOS or Android apps. AudioMap works in any modern browser, phones included, and its native Flutter apps for iOS and Android are in beta, not yet published to the stores. In Latin America, where most of the mobile market is Android, that is not optional.

Public benchmarks, no black box

Supernormal doesn't publish what transcription engine they use or their WER per language. AudioMap publishes /benchmark with verifiable data. Knowing what your tool transcribes, and how much quality you can expect, should be public information, not commercial.
