Getting started
- Sign up or log into your AudioMap account.
- Create an API key at /dashboard/api-keys (takes 5 seconds).
- Call the REST API or connect the MCP from Claude / ChatGPT / Cursor.
- Credits deduct from your plan; if you run out, the system returns 402 — no surprise charges.
No overage. When the month's credits run out, calls return 402 until the next cycle or an upgrade. Zero surprise charges, zero commitment.
What if you transcribe more minutes than your plan includes?
Zero surprises. If you exceed your monthly transcription quota, you enter overage at a fixed per-minute rate, with a configurable monthly cap. We notify you by email at 80%, at 100% and when you reach the cap.

Is there any commitment or fine print?+
None. Cancel with one click from your account at any time. If you have paid in advance and cancel within the first 30 days, we refund you in full, no questions asked.
What happens if I exceed my plan minutes?+
On Free, transcriptions are blocked until the next cycle. On Personal, Pro or Power, you enter overage: each extra minute costs €0.025 / €0.020 / €0.015 depending on your plan and is invoiced at the end of the period alongside your monthly fee. You have a configurable monthly cap to prevent surprise bills (default = your plan price, adjustable from /dashboard/billing). We notify you by email at 80%, 100% of quota and when you reach the cap. We never charge you without warning.
Is my data private?+
Yes. We process audio on our dedicated European server. Semantic embeddings are generated locally — your transcripts are never sent to OpenAI or the United States.
Does it work for Latin American Spanish?+
Yes. AudioMap distinguishes 8 regional Spanish variants (es-ES, es-MX, es-AR, es-CO, es-CL, es-VE, es-PE, es-UY) with superior transcription quality.
Can I change plans at any time?+
Yes. Upgrading is immediate and you only pay the prorated difference. Downgrading takes effect at the end of the current cycle.
What happens to my notes if I cancel?+
Your transcriptions and AI Notes remain accessible in read mode for 90 days after canceling. You can export everything to TXT, SRT or JSON with one click.
Do you support business invoicing with VAT ID?+
Yes. We enable tax_id_collection in Stripe Checkout, so you can enter your VAT ID during checkout and it will appear on the invoice.
