You record the whole lecture and never have time to play it back
AudioMap transcribes it, analyses it with the University class template and produces the mind map on its own. Out of ninety minutes of audio you end up playing six or seven.
“I record the whole lecture and I never have time to listen to it again.”
The template that solves it
Analysis template
University class
One of AudioMap's thirteen analysis templates. It does not return a generic summary: it returns the sections a lecture actually has, including the reading list the lecturer mentions in passing while you are writing something else.
What it produces
- Objectives of the session
- Theoretical framework
- Concepts, with their examples
- Reading list, including what was mentioned on the fly
- Transcript with timestamps, speaker by speaker
Three things that change your week
The mind map appears on its own
It is generated from the analysis and shows which concept hangs off which. In a theory-heavy lecture that is the difference between a list of terms and understanding what the topic was about.
Markers and the notebook
A point marker for "this is on the exam", a segment marker for the eight minutes of the worked example. It all lands in the My markers notebook, with everything you flagged across every lecture.
Ask the whole term
Chat with citations answers about one lecture giving the exact minute, and global chat queries your entire library: the concept explained in October, applied in November and back in the January recap.
Which plan you need
Personal is the plan that fits: 1,200 min/mo, all thirteen analysis templates, unlimited chat with citations, mind maps, markers and the My markers notebook. Its line in the pricing table literally reads "For freelancers and students". The free plan gives you 300 min/mo and three templates, and University class is not one of them.
The Personal plan costs €9 a month billed annually.

Can I record on my phone and upload later?
Yes. You can record inside the app or upload a file you already have. Same treatment: same transcript, same analysis, same chat with citations.
Does it work with a campus video or a YouTube link?
Yes. Paste the link and it becomes another note. AudioMap distinguishes six note origins, and YouTube and link are two of them.
How long does a ninety-minute lecture take?
It is measured in minutes, not hours, and you get a notification when it finishes. Paid plans get priority in the queue, which is what you notice during exam season.
Can I share the notes with my class?
Yes. You can share the note as a link with an expiry date, and hide the audio so the other person reads the analysis without downloading the recording.
