“The electronic medical record is fine, but the nuance of "how the patient said it" is lost. AudioMap gives me the textual archive with search — and my DPO sleeps well.
No, not yet. HIPAA is on our roadmap (estimated 2027). For the US this may be limiting. For Spain and the EU in general, **GDPR + AEPD April 2026 compliance is what applies**, and we cover that point by point at /legal/aepd-compliance.
GDPR art. 9 requires that health data is processed with reinforced legal bases (explicit consent, medical necessity, etc.). AudioMap provides: (1) verifiable European infrastructure, (2) consent audit log, (3) public deletion endpoint for patients. The obligation to obtain consent rests on you as the healthcare professional.
Your transcripts are not shared or used to train models. Embeddings run on-premise (bge-m3 on Hetzner DE). Sub-processors limited to Vertex AI europe-west1 (with Google Cloud DPA). Auditable at /legal/subprocessors.
