Exercise your rights over your data

If you believe your voice appears in a recording processed by AudioMap and you want to exercise any of your GDPR rights (access, erasure, rectification, portability, objection), this is the channel.

The AEPD guidance of 20 April 2026 states that anyone appearing in a recording processed by an AI transcription tool has the right to exercise their GDPR rights directly with the data controller (AudioMap), without having to go through the host who uploaded the recording.

This page implements that channel. If you have an AudioMap account, you can exercise these rights from your dashboard. If you don't, this form is for you.

Who is this form for?

  • You attended a meeting recorded with AudioMap and want to request deletion of your portion of the recording.
  • You want to know what information we have about your voice or what you said (right of access, GDPR Art. 15).
  • You want a portable copy of your data (Art. 20 GDPR).
  • You want to object to processing or correct incorrect information (Art. 16 and 21 GDPR).

How does it work?

  1. You fill out this form with the minimum data to identify yourself and the recording in question.
  2. Our Data Protection Officer receives the request at [email protected].
  3. We respond in less than 30 days (GDPR Art. 12.3). If we need to extend the deadline, we will justify it in advance.
  4. If the request is for deletion and applicable, we delete the portions of the recording corresponding to your voice, keep the rest if legally possible, and notify the host that their recording has been modified.
  5. If your request does not apply (because we cannot identify you, because the recording no longer exists, or because other regulation requires us to keep it), we explain it with concrete legal basis.

Formulario

The more information you include, the faster and more accurate our process. Only email is required for us to respond.

On submit, we open your email client with a pre-filled message addressed to [email protected]. This lets us register your request without requiring you to have an account and without invasive captchas.

What happens after you submit?

  1. We receive your request at [email protected] and log it with timestamp.
  2. We respond within 72 hours to confirm receipt.
  3. We work on the request and respond completely within 30 days (GDPR Art. 12.3).
  4. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the AEPD (Spanish Data Protection Agency): www.aepd.es.

Alternative: contact directly

If you prefer not to use the form, write directly to [email protected] with the same data. The procedure is identical.
